If you’ve read through my blog you’ll know I posted some pre-wedding pictures of Delyth and Dan a while ago HERE. They asked for the shoot to get over the nerves of being photographed on the big day, and found they relaxed into the whole experience very quickly.
They were married at St. Illtyd’s church in Llanrhidian, Gower, a stones throw from the reception venue, Oldwalls .
Friends had suggested they have some photographs taken Weobley Castle which is a two minute drive from the reception.
As you will see from other photographs on my blog and website, there is generally not a lot of posing and setup during photographs and especially no images of an old building or ruin with the bride and groom propped awkwardly against it or hanging off it for no reason. The photographs should be about you, so if there’s a place special to you both, no problem, let’s go. But it should be a backdrop to you, it shouldn’t distract from you.
For Delyth and Dan it was a few quiet moments away from everyone, it just so happened there was a stunning view behind them. They stood where I asked them too then I stepped back and left them ‘in the moment’, that’s when the best pictures happen!
