Photography has always been a passion for me, all types of photography, and I feel very lucky that I have been able to do this professionally for twenty years. I always wanted to be a photojournalist. I trained, inspired by some of the greatest reportage photographers of the 20th century. For over ten years I photographed for the UK’s national newspapers and magazines, I developed a strong client base in advertising and PR photography and began shooting weddings nearly ten years ago. The bottom line is that I love taking pictures of people and this is why I enjoy wedding photography so much.
I love capturing all the little details especially the ones that are so personal to you, the moments you don’t see and the moments you didn’t think anybody else saw. I also see part of my job is to keep you calm, help you if I can and make you both feel at ease throughout the whole day.
I sympathise with couples trying to choose the right photographer for them. But in the end it comes down to how you want your story told and who you trust to capture it. I’d love to talk to you about what you are looking for and how you see your day. Emails are great, there’s a form below to get in touch. But It is really important for a couple to connect with their photographer and a phone call can reassure you straight away.
